Adaptive Clearing beta

Use our server to calculate Adaptive Clearing toolpaths for free. This is the new roughing technique for 3-axis milling machines that enables smooth Z-clearing along the full depth of the tool, not just the tip. (See the FAQ for details.) Please post comments on the blog.

Select a position on the toolpath.

Drag mouse left/right to rotate model about Z, up/down to rotate about viewplane horizontal.

Drag the mouse to pan the viewing position.

Drag mouse right and up, or left and down, to zoom in and out centred at the point where you clicked.

At this time the Adaptive Clearing web-page only works with the Firefox browser, which you can download for free at Firefox download.

It does not work with Internet Explorer. Please see the Frequently Asked Questions for our explanation.
